I planned a whole spirits week within a committee and we tied different colored ribbons to sell for $1c, plus any extra donation/ spare change they would like to make. We were outside and in the lunch room almost every day that week and ended up raising $482.74 all together, which means $120.67 per organization! I went home every night with the coins and cash that I had raised and counted it, then wrote it all down to keep track, I also took into consideration the money for the coin jars, the ribbons, and the safety pins, but my family decided to donate those, therefore not taking away from the organizations.
